Rare Book Room
On some Saturdays I volunteer at a private library dedicated to nature conservation and appreciation. Last week I was allowed into the rare book room.
Through the glass
Some books are so old they need to be bound with string to keep them together.
I quickly found the oldest book (or at least the oldest with the date listed). 1517
The big art books need to be laid flat on shelves.
The drawings are all very delicate and detailed.
This is personally my fave.
